When your hearing fades, the first thing you lose is not sound - it is conversation. At ANDARA we take the time to understand how you live, so we can give back what you have been missing.
Tap or click each point and follow the path of sound.
1Sound waves
Vibrations that travel as waves until they reach the outer ear.
2Outer ear
Catches the waves and guides them down the ear canal to the eardrum.
3Eardrum
A very thin membrane that vibrates as the waves pass, transmitting the vibration to the ossicles.
4Ossicles
The three smallest bones in the human body. They amplify the vibrations and pass them on to the cochlea.
5Cochlea
The vibrations move the fluid inside it, and the hair cells turn them into electrical signals.
6Auditory nerve
Carries the electrical signals from the cochlea to the brain.
7Auditory cortex
Interprets the signals and turns them into recognisable sounds.

Hearing assessments
The first step in caring for your hearing is understanding what you need. That is why we assess your hearing thoroughly, following a full protocol of hearing tests.

At ANDARA you will find assistive devices and accessories that make everyday life easier, designed so you can enjoy your favourite moments in greater comfort.
Why it matters
We care for your hearing, we improve your life
Hearing does not disappear overnight: it fades so gradually that we get used to it. First the television goes up a little, then you say less over dinner because following the conversation takes real effort - until, without noticing, those dinners start to appeal a little less.
That is why we do not talk about devices. We talk about coming back to the table, back into the conversation, back to being there.
You rejoin the conversation
You stop nodding at things you did not catch. The after-dinner chat, the pub, the family get-together: noisy places where you used to keep quiet.
Listening stops exhausting you
When you cannot hear well, your brain works twice as hard filling in the gaps. You feel it by the end of the day. Hearing well means resting better.
The people around you notice first
The loud television, the constant “what?”, the calls you avoid. It usually starts as everyone else’s problem and ends up being yours.
The sooner, the easier
Ears adapt better before they get out of practice. There is no need to wait until it becomes obvious.
About ANDARA
Closeness is how we work
You always see the same person: the one who already knows how you hear, what you struggle with and where you left off last time. We work by appointment so every visit has its own time and calm.
We work with every brand and we are in no hurry to sell you anything. First we measure, then we explain calmly how you hear, and only then do we weigh up the next step together - which is sometimes simply seeing each other again in a year.
We are based in Rojales and we look after the whole Vega Baja. Many people come because someone local told them to, and that is still the best sign that we are getting it right.
