Cookie policy
The short version: by default this website uses no cookies. The only one that may appear is the Google Maps cookie, and only if you accept it.
By default, this website uses no cookies
As you browse this website we place no cookies on your device, neither our own nor third-party ones. We also do not use tracking pixels, browser fingerprinting or analytics tools that record your visit. You can move through the page without leaving a trace on it.
The only exception: the Google map
On the contact page we show our location with a Google Maps map. That map is the only part of the website that can set cookies, and they are Google’s, not ours. When you load it, Google also receives your IP address, which means your data is transferred to the United States.
That is why the map does not load on its own. The first time you visit, a notice appears at the bottom with two options, Accept and Reject: until you choose, the map is not shown, no cookie is set, and your browser does not even connect to Google. If you would rather not accept it, in place of the map we leave a link to view the location on Google Maps, which opens on Google’s own site without leaving cookies on ours.
How to change your decision
We remember what you choose so as not to ask you again on every visit. We do this by storing a marker in your browser’s storage (localStorage), which is not a cookie, does not travel to third parties and cannot identify you: it only notes your decision.
You can change it whenever you like from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page: it shows you the notice once more so you can accept or reject again.
What about the fonts and images?
They are served from our own server, not from external services. That means your browser does not need to connect to any third party to show you this page, and that those third parties never receive your IP address or learn that you have visited us.
What happens when you fill in the form?
The contact form does not use cookies. What you type into it only leaves your browser when you press “Send message”, and what we do with it is explained in our privacy policy.
If this changes
If we ever add a tool that does use cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before installing them, as the law requires.
